About the author

Hi, my name is Daniel Harman and I am the author of Buzz Pet. I work for myself as a Business Analyst in addition to running Buzz Pet after business hours. I feel very fortunate to live in cosmopolitan Melbourne, Australia with my beautiful partner Jennifer and our cheeky Tonkinese cat, Charlie, not to mention various tropical fish.

Why Buzz Pet?

I have always had a love and affection for animals and I was fortunate to grow up with many family pets, including our dogs Rhu, Skye and Ayla, and and more recently our beautiful Tonkinese cat Charlie. Over the years I have hence learnt a lot about pets and pet ownership and was keen to start recording what I was learning via a blog style website. So the idea of Buzz Pet was born and I started writing April 2008.

Buzz Pet’s goal

Put simply, my goal for Buzz Pet is to become the place where pet owners visit to read the latest news, review and advice on all things pet related. Reaching this goal is in many ways largely lands in the hands of the reader’s of Buzz Pet. The site is dedicated to giving you the opportunity to share your experiences, provide feedback and comment on all the articles written, so I encourage all of you to comment on the articles and share your thoughts with us all at Buzz Pet.
