A few words about why I run the Buzz Pet site.

I am the first to admit I generally do not like disclaimers; the very word for me has a negative feel. Having said that, I would like to use this page to explain a little about my motivations for Buzz Pet, and what I get out of authoring the site.

Love of pets

My main motivation for Buzz Pet is driven simply by my love of pets. I realise that sounds rather corny but I truly believe that the ownership of pets can enrich any one’s life by providing a positive experience. You may in fact want to read my article “Pet owner’s happy” which highlights some of the current research of pet ownership benefits.

The internet

I love the Internet and would have to admit I have a rather heavy addiction to browsing the web and enjoying what it has to offer. As a pet owner however, the Internet for me was lacking with a good quality magazine style blog dedicated to pet owners. So I thought I would have a go and fill that void by producing Buzz Pet.

Money

All in all, Buzz Pet does not cost me a lot of money but it does cost something to run. Put simply it would be great to earn some pocket money from sponsors / advertising to cover the costs of hosting each month. A real sense of achievement

Launching Buzz Pet after many months of hard work was a fantastic feeling. I have learnt a lot about website development not to mention the many random pet related facts I have researched and written about in my articles.
