Yet another report of a wild python snake dining on some one’s unfortunate pet cat. What a wild country we live in!
The Northern Territory News today reported that the McLaren family from Tiwi a northern suburb of Darwin, woke yesterday to find one of their kittens missing….. and a very fat snake close by. After putting their other cats safely inside the house and calling the snake catcher, their worse fears were confirmed - poor Kohl the kitten had indeed been eaten by the nearby 2m python snake.
With the snake breeding season nearing, people living in Northern Australia are currently being urged to be cautious in their back yards during this time of the year.
